This listserv is designed for pro bonos who are actively engaged in, or have relevant questions, experience with, children’s release advocacy, including work involving habeas petitions and related legal strategies. This is a coordination and information-sharing space—not a referral listserv for new pro bono opportunities. Participation is limited to individuals contributing legal expertise to these efforts, with the goal of strengthening collaboration, strategy alignment, and effective advocacy on behalf of children. • The VeraCHIRPnetwork listserv is a great opportunity for information sharing between legal service providers working with unaccompanied children through either the Children's Holistic Immigration Representation Project (CHIRP) or the Unaccompanied Minors Technical Assistance (UMTA) Project. It presents a unique opportunity to ask questions to peers across the networks and learn about trends, successes, and challenges occurring throughout California.
